Born and brought up in Mumbai, Nilisha completed her Bachelors in fine art and Masters degree in portraiture from Sir JJ School of Art. According to her, the body narrates experiences through its mere existence. Nilisha’s works are figurative in nature, documenting her observations of the society and the diverse personalities of people she encounters intrigue her,becoming inadvertent muses channeling the concepts of her paintings.
