"Bharat R is a fine artist from Kerala, with a primary focus on portraits and figurative art. Trained in classical art, Bharat has an inclination towards traditional realism. He primarily works with graphite, charcoal, oils and also creates digital work applying the same technique. His graphite drawing ‘Portrait of Chantal’ was selected for the prestigious Royal Academy of Portrait Painters Annual Exhibition 2021. In 2016 his paintings were selected for the Midas Exhibition and were also exhibited at the Newlyn Art Gallery, Cornwall.
